Privacy Policy

Introduction and Overview
This privacy policy (version 17.06.2025-113015434) is intended to inform you, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable national laws, about which personal data we process as the controller – and which processors (e.g. hosting providers) we may engage. All terms used refer equally to all genders.
In short: We provide transparent information on the personal data we collect and process.
Privacy policies are often highly technical and filled with legal terminology. We aim to describe the most important aspects as simply and clearly as possible. Where helpful, we explain technical terms in plain language, include links to further information, and use easy-to-understand language. We only process personal data where there is a valid legal basis to do so. This is only possible when privacy information is provided clearly and comprehensibly – not through vague, overly brief, or legalistic explanations, which unfortunately are often the standard.
If you still have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact details listed below or in the legal notice. You may also find additional information by following the links provided or by visiting third-party resources.

Scope of Application
This privacy policy applies to all personal data processed by us as a company and to all personal data processed by companies commissioned by us (processors). "Personal data" means any information that can identify a natural person directly or indirectly (as defined in Article 4(1) GDPR), such as name, email address, postal address, etc.
This privacy policy applies to:

  • all our online platforms (websites, online shops)
  • our social media presences and email communications
  • mobile apps for smartphones and other devices

In short: This policy applies wherever personal data is processed in a structured way within our organisation via the channels mentioned above. If we enter into legal relationships with you outside these channels, we will inform you separately where required.

Legal Bases

In accordance with the GDPR, we only process your data if at least one of the following legal bases applies:

1. Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): You have explicitly given us consent to process your data for a specific purpose. Example: data submitted via a contact form.
2. Contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): We need to process your data to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual obligation. Example: executing a purchase agreement.
3. Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR): We are legally required to process certain data. Example: retention of invoices for accounting purposes.
4. Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): We process data to protect our legitimate interests, provided your fundamental rights do not override those interests. Example: ensuring website security.

Other grounds such as processing in the public interest or to protect vital interests are generally not applicable in our business context. If these do apply, we will indicate this separately.

Additional National Regulations
In Austria, this includes the Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz, DSG). In Germany, the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) applies. Where other regional or national regulations apply, we will inform you accordingly in the following sections.

If you request the deletion of your data or withdraw your consent to processing, we will delete your data promptly unless legal retention obligations apply. Where possible, we will specify the relevant retention period for each category of data below.
